BXI eATL is an iPad tech log for pilots and maintenance: sector records, defects, deferrals and release to service, electronically signed and sealed in a tamper-evident record — even with no connection.
Paper tech logs are slow to fill in, hard to read, and arrive at the office days later. Many electronic alternatives need a connection at exactly the moment the aircraft doesn't have one, and few can prove that a signed page has not been edited afterwards.
BXI eATL runs on an iPad bound to each aircraft. Pages are pre-filled from the BXI schedule, compiled phase by phase, and signed by the crew with a personal passphrase. Signing works offline; pages sync automatically when the iPad is back online.
Each sealed page is hashed, chained to the previous one and electronically signed, so any later change is detectable. The record is designed around EASA Part-M and Part-CAMO technical log requirements.
The tech log is legible, complete and in the office as soon as the iPad connects. Maintenance sees open items before the aircraft lands, and ops sees the release to service without waiting for a photo of the page.
BXI eATL uses BXI Platform for login, flights, crew, MEL and ATL books, and its sealed pages appear in the Technical module. BXI eATL is currently available to operators through an early-access programme — contact us to take part.
